On 10 May 2017 a first ETIP Ocean networking lunch was hosted for ocean energy companies and university students considering a new career in this exciting, emerging sector.

The event was very well attended by both students and companies, with over 90 participants. There were numerous conversations and interactions between students and industry throughout the event. Students had the chance meet project developers, technology developers and supply chain companies. Company representatives met the next generation of ocean energy professionals.
